Diwalli and Eid 2005 Greetings

Dear Friends,

Hearty greetings for Diwali and Eid!

Both are auspicious festivals from two great faith traditions i.e. Hinduism and Islam. While one indicates victory of good over evil the other symbolises victory of spiritual power over materialist temptations. In the history of India both festivals have been celebrated with great enthusiasm and often together by lovers of peace and those who value the composite culture of India. And this despite the forces of hatred trying to sow seeds of conflict between those two faith communities.

Let us celebrate these two great festivals together this year as they fall on consecutive days. And let us celebrate, along with these festivals, diversity of our country. So doing really amount to victory of good over evil and spiritualism over materialism. Hearty greetings for both festivals once again.
